Ergonomic Design

The OPNBar is designed around the way your body moves when you open a stiff container door. It extends the door latch handle, so you can use a steady pull from your legs and body weight instead of jerking the handle with your wrists and back. Watch the OPNBar ergonomic trucker tool in use:

One Bar, Three Jobs

• Door latch handle extender: opens and closes shipping container and truck trailer doors, including rusted or iced-over latches
• 5th wheel hitch release hook: unhooks the tractor from the trailer without reaching under it, with less strain on your neck, shoulders and back
• Tire thumper: a quick sound check on tire inflation. A properly inflated tire gives a sharp thud and a low tire gives a dull one.
